Olivellas: "Taste of the Art"

For the renewed communication of Olivellas, a premium producer of table olives, Yonas Design developed a concept that elevates the product from food to artistic experience.

The campaign is built around a clever reinterpretation of the well-known phrase “State of the Art”, transformed into “Taste of the Art.”
This linguistic twist bridges the world of fine taste and fine art — suggesting that just as art represents the peak of human creativity, Olivellas olives represent the peak of natural flavor and craftsmanship.

The hero visual features an engraving by Flemish artist Jacob van der Heyden (1573–1645), titled "The Five Senses: Taste." In our version, the figure delicately reaches for a bowl of olives — a metaphor for how the perfection of taste can awaken even classical beauty.

To complement the concept, a second visual was developed, inspired by the iconic street-art image of the girl with the balloon — this time reimagined with a bright green olive as the balloon. A playful, contemporary contrast that underscores the emotional and imaginative impact of flavor.

Together, these images bring to life the central message:

Olivellas olives aren’t just good. They’re a taste of the art.
